Principal's Welcome

New Year – New Start!

Welcome back to a brand-new term! The New Year is always a wonderful opportunity to pause, reflect, and embrace fresh beginnings. Just as the Bible reminds us in the story of Noah, when the rainbow appeared after the flood, God’s promises bring hope and new opportunities. Each day, each term, and each year are gifts to start again with courage and faith.

There is so much to be excited about this year. We look forward to walking this journey together, celebrating the small and big moments of growth, and trusting that God is with us in every step.

Parents’ Prayer Gathering

We warmly invite parents and carers to join our weekly Prayer Gathering, every Thursday at 9:15am. This is a time to pause from the busyness of the week, come together in fellowship, and lift up our school community in prayer. Everyone is welcome, whether you’re new or have been part of our gatherings before.

Let’s step into this year with open hearts, expectant of the good things to come!

Teaching and Learning Walkthrus

Supporting your child’s learning at home makes a real difference to their success at school. This video offers practical advice on how you can help your child build effective study habits, develop independence, and maintain a healthy routine to support both body and mind – especially during times of pressure. It also links to our ongoing development of teaching and learning strategies at All Saints’ Academy, including our use of Walkthrus to ensure the best support for every student. This video is particularly relevant to what Mr Williams mentioned in his welcome at the start of the newsletter. We encourage you to take a few minutes to watch and discover simple ways to guide your child towards confident and resilient learning.

Attendance

Introducing Swap Shop!

At All Saints’ Academy, we’re rewarding great attendance and positive behaviour with our exciting new Swap Shop initiative! Pupils earn tickets by attending school for a full week or by exchanging their positive behaviour points.

These tickets can then be swapped for awesome prizes like stationery, footballs, power banks, Fuzzies, vouchers, and even raffle entries to win big-ticket items like an iPad or AirPods! It’s a fun and motivating way to celebrate our students’ commitment and character, so let’s get swapping!

Homework Now Set on Bromcom

From Monday 15th September, all homework will be set and submitted through the Bromcom Student Portal. This means we will no longer be using Satchel One. We have made this change to simplify things for families, as Bromcom is already our main communication and organisation platform. Thank you for supporting this transition.

Students
Log in via the “Single Sign On” Microsoft button, where they can view, complete and upload homework. If there are any issues logging in, students should speak to their tutor. They can also contact their teacher through the portal if they need support.

Parents/Carers
View your child’s homework via the MCAS App.
