Can you believe we are already 4 weeks into term? Time seems to be flying, and so much has already taken place within our Academy community.

This term, our Collective Worship has focused on the Academy value of Respect – reflecting on what it means to honour one another in our words, our actions, and the way we live together as a community.

We are really excited and looking forward to the Year 7 Retreats, which begin next week. These retreats are a special opportunity for our new students to pause, reflect, and think about the journey they are beginning, both in school and in their own faith and values.

As we approach Harvest, it is a time to be thankful for all that we have and to remember those who have less. Together, we celebrate God’s provision and consider how we can share generously with others. We are reminded of these words from the Bible: “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.” (Psalm 107:1)

BBC to ASA!

We are delighted to share that the BBC Bitesize Careers Tour will be visiting All Saints’ Academy on Wednesday 15th October.

The event will be hosted by a BBC presenter and feature a panel of professionals from the Cheltenham area. Together, they will explore a wide range of careers-related topics, including qualifications, workplace skills, personal experiences and advice on gaining work experience.

Students from Years 8–13 will have the opportunity to take part in this inspiring session, which will also include an interactive Q&A where they can put their own questions to the panel.

This marks the first in a series of exciting careers events planned for the year. Year 11 students will also hear from local colleges and training providers later this term, and a full outline of our careers programme will be shared with parents and carers shortly.

 

School Photography – Free Delivery Deadline Approaching

If your child had their photo taken at the beginning of term they should have bought home a contact sheet with a link to order photos should you wish.

Families should have also received an email with details on how to view and order individual and group photos.

Please note that the free delivery period to the Academy ends on Thursday 2 October 2025. Orders placed after this date will still be accepted, but a delivery charge will apply.
