REQUIREMENTS: Grade 5 in GCSE Geography

Our Geography curriculum has been designed to ensure that all students can:

  • Explore the world around them, and broaden their view of the world, by understanding and respecting different cultures

  • Develop moral responsibility

  • Excel academically

With a growing interest in issues such as climate change, migration and disaster relief, Geography is one of the most relevant courses you could choose to study. Whatever your passion for the world, whether it’s a fascination with landscapes or concerns about social inequalities, Geography will provide you with knowledge and transferable skills to help you gain a strong understanding of the world around you. It will help you to build your teamwork skills, and your ability to research in depth, as well as support you in using a range of ICT and specialist fieldwork equipment. As a science, Geography is strongly desired by employers due to its ability to produce independent, critical thinkers.
